Left Eye Lazy Publishing is an independent publishing imprint based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We work with a small, deliberate roster of authors — four to six titles per year — because we believe every book deserves real attention, real design, and real marketing.

We accept submissions in the following genres:
Nonfiction — music culture, memoir, biography, true crime, self-help
Fiction — thriller, horror, science fiction
Other genres considered on a case by case basis
We do not publish romance, erotica, or relationship-driven commercial fiction. Every submission is reviewed personally. We are selective by design.
THE DEAL
No upfront fees. No hidden costs. We split revenue on what actually sells. You keep the majority. We earn when you earn.
3-year agreement — 60% to you, 40% to us.
5-year agreement — 70% to you, 30% to us.
All splits calculated on net revenue after platform fees. Full transparency on every payment.
eBook minimum $5.99. Softcover minimum $17.99. Hardcover minimum $24.99. Your work has value and we price it that way.
